Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms govern your use of 10Signals, the hosted competitive-intelligence service at 10signals.xyz, operated by 10claws, Inc. (“10Signals”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, running a report, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use 10Signals for a company, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
- 10Signals takes a company domain and produces a saved report: verified competitors, comparable products with public prices, and the sources behind each claim.
- These terms cover the hosted service. The open-source self-hosted edition is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0; these terms do not apply to software you run yourself.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Provide accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- API keys and connected apps, such as MCP clients, act on your behalf within the permissions you approve. Keep keys secret, and revoke keys and apps you no longer use in your account.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions, billed in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe. Taxes may apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at your selected monthly or yearly interval until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Each plan includes allowances, as described on the pricing page. Depending on your plan, these are either reports per month or a number of organisations (tracked company domains), together with product limits and price-watch credits. Report, price-watch and replacement allowances reset monthly, including on yearly plans; organisation slots do not reset each month. There are no automatic overage charges: when you reach a limit, new reports pause until an allowance is available again or you change plan.
- Watching credit top-ups cost $5 per 1,000 credits as a one-time payment. Monthly included credits are used first; purchased credits carry over and require an active subscription to use. Each attempted check uses a credit, including failed checks. Contact support@10signals.xyz for top-up refund requests. Refunded or disputed payments reduce purchased credit availability; this does not remove any mandatory consumer rights.
- Refunds: you can ask for a full refund of the first payment on your first 10Signals subscription within 14 days of that payment by writing to support@10signals.xyz. Renewal payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- We may change prices or plan allowances. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Complimentary or trial access we grant can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
4. How reports work, and their limits
- Reports are built from publicly available web pages at the time they are observed. Websites change, block access, and can show different prices to different visitors, so a report can be incomplete or out of date.
- Competitor verification and product matching use automated methods, including AI, and can be wrong. Reports label what was observed, what was inferred, and what could not be checked, and link to their sources so you can confirm them.
- Reports are information, not professional, financial or legal advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make, including pricing decisions, and for checking important facts against the original sources.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use 10Signals for anything unlawful, or to harass, defame or infringe the rights of others;
- try to reach non-public, password-protected or paywalled content through the service;
- interfere with, overload or attack the service or the websites it visits, or get around plan limits, rate limits or security controls;
- copy, scrape or resell the service itself, or share account access outside your organisation — agencies may still produce reports for their own clients;
- reverse-engineer the hosted service, except where the law allows it. The open-source edition is governed by its own licence.
Our crawler identifies itself as MarketSignal/1.0 and respects robots.txt. Website owners can opt out as described on How it works.
6. Sharing, your content and feedback
- Reports belong to your workspace and are private by default. If you create a share link, anyone with that link can view the report until you make it private again.
- You keep your rights in what you submit, such as domains, product selections, notes and feedback. You permit us to use it to provide, secure and improve the service. We may use suggestions and feedback you give us without any obligation to you.
7. Our rights and third-party content
- The hosted service, its design and its software belong to us or our licensors. Open-source components remain under their own licences.
- Websites, product names, images and prices shown in reports belong to their owners. We show them to identify and compare products, with links to the source.
8. Data retention and privacy
- Saved reports are deleted automatically when their retention period ends: normally 90 days after they are created. On organisation-based plans, each organisation’s report is kept while your subscription is paid and for 90 days after the paid period ends. Keep a copy of anything you need.
- We process your account, billing and usage information to provide the service. Google Analytics runs on every page, and PostHog usage analytics and technical browser diagnostics are enabled by default on supported hosted pages, subject to browser privacy signals; instrumented browser actions and backend logs can be linked to your account and reports for support. See Privacy policy for what is collected.
9. Availability, changes and suspension
- We work to keep 10Signals available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or has unpaid charges. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.
10. Ending your use
- You can stop using 10Signals at any time and cancel your subscription from the billing portal. To close your account, contact us at support@10signals.xyz.
- Terms that by their nature should continue — such as payment obligations, disclaimers, limits of liability and governing law — continue after your use ends.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, 10Signals is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the service before they apply. If you keep using 10Signals after that, the updated terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
